VIDEO

I can create a video for you from beginning to end. I’ll work closely with you at every step to make sure you get what you want, and offer advice to ensure you get what you need. I have experience of shooting for news, documentary, and drama - including in hostile environments. My footage has been used by news outlets such as BBC, ITV, Sky, AFP, and Al Jazeera, to name a few.
I also collaborate closely with actors and composers, and can provide the perfect soundtrack for your video at a very competitive rate.
If you're an actor in need of a showreel, why not ask me? I can give your title card an animated flourish that makes you stand out from the rest!

News & Documentary

I shot my first ever documentary while serving in Iraq as a soldier. This film, although intended just for 'memories', was seen by the BBC, who broadcast it in 2007. Soon after, I got a job working for Mission Media, a NATO TV supplier in Afghanistan, where I regularly shot small news stories (sometimes while being shot at, myself!). I also used the footage to create a short documentary, entitle Lifesavers, that tells the story of the rescue of a wounded soldier, which was received well in the US.

(apologies for the quality, 2009 was a long time ago in tech-years!)

Fiction & Drama Films

Upon returning from Afghanistan, I made a few fiction films, exploring some of the ideas related to conflict. My first film, Mine, won the Smoke & Mirrors 48 Hour Film Challenge in 2012, beating fifty other films from around the world.

I then went on to crowdfund What Manner of Men, which was inspired by the events in Arnhem, Holland 1944. We raised almost £10,000 on Kickstarter, and the film was very well received. This film gave me important experience and insight into to the nature of social media campaigns.
